The project is based on the creation of a new craft beer brand, Brewart, from Cyprus. The brief was to create visually striking labels that reflect the artistic and craft nature of the product, while also appealing to the target market. Each beer type is named after a different art movement and features a unique label design created with a specific analogue tool; Linocut, oil pastel, acrylic, and pencil. Each label features a distinct colour palette, illustrations and lettering that reflect the art movement it represents. The challenge was to properly analyse each art movement and create a label concept that accurately represents it, using the appropriate analogue tool. We got inspiration from famous artists’ works and designed the label concepts in our own way. By uniting different art movements under the same roof, a sense of a museum collection was created on shelf, when all the beer types are displayed together. Our objective is to encourage consumers to collect the beer bottles like they would an art piece. By combining art and craft beer, the brand stands out in a crowded market, resulting in a successful launch with positive feedback from consumers and a strong following among beer enthusiasts.
